Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". However, she's primarily an avid music fan. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled in since she was only nine years old. When she was 12, she took music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. After some experimentation with songwriting, she only recorded the album with music covers when she was fourteen. There hasn't been a turning to the past since. Orrantia is a native of America and has Hispanic origins. Though she grew up speaking only English and never lived in Mexico she is very satisfied with her Hispanic culture. Through studying Spanish and composing songs, she strives to maintain the spirit of her culture. One such song is "Hasta Verte," which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she got four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at the Seattle audition. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three female singers along with her were put together to audition other songs. The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the live shows.
