Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Her album, It's too late for Tina the same year. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also established herself as an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
