Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired from her childhood as a member of the New York family of artists. In the beginning she began as an assistant in photography. Later on her work changed towards modeling and directing. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought the world to her and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female at the box office in history. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three occasions.
